McDonald's to give free fries every Friday for rest of year

McDonald’s is giving customers a new reason to enjoy Fry-days.

The fast food chain launched “Free Fries Friday,” giving away an order of free medium fries every Friday — for the rest of the year, at least.

Customers with their eyes on the fries can snag their free side starting this Friday, Oct. 27 and every Friday through Dec. 31.

There are just a few catches, but nothing too salty.

People will have to use and opt into the rewards program on the McDonald’s app, and once you’re registered, you have to make an order of a minimum of $1. On the app, go to the “deals” tab, select the “Free Fries Friday” deal, then tap “Add Deal to Mobile Order.”

Customers must also have contactless payment set up, using any major credit card that is added to their account.

After those small steps, you’ll be good to go. Just pick up your order at any participating McDonald’s restaurant.

The only other stipulation is that the deal can only be redeemed one time every Friday.

If it makes any difference, a small order of McDonald’s fries is always available on the “$1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu.”

But for just one dollar, you can “make it a fry day with a friend.”

McDonald’s also recently announced that they would be bringing back the McRib after giving the fan-favorite meal a grand “farewell tour” in 2022.

The love-it-or-hate-it classic sandwich will be available for a limited time only in November.

“It turns out not everyone was ready to say goodbye to the McRib,” a rep told The Post earlier this month.
