Remembering Jeffrey Carlson Through the Years

Actor Jeffrey Carlson died at the age of 48 on July 6. His friend and colleague Susan Hart made the announcement on July 7 in a Facebook post. Carlson made history for starring as one of the first trans characters on daytime TV in 2006 on “All My Children.” Carlson portrayed a musician named Zarf, whose transition as Zoe was included as a storyline. Previously, Carlson starred as rock star Marilyn opposite Euan Morton as Boy George in “Taboo” on Broadway in 2004.
