With the major networks descending on New York City this week in order to announce their upcoming lineups – peruse the 2014-2015 NBC schedule and Fox schedule now – we just have one question:
Is it too late for Ricky Gervais and Russell Crowe to headline their very own series?
The comedian and the actor very much enjoyed a nigh of drinking together in Newcastle, England last night, chronicling the evening out in a series of hilarious Tweets.
“Who am I getting drunk with at the moment?” Gervais wrote along with a photo of the stars looking a tad disheveled at a restaurant.
Crowe replied to the message with: “@rickygervais Roger Moore?”
As the night wore on, more and more alcohol was consumed – and more and more messages written.
“I honestly haven’t been this drunk for ages. @russellcrowe is a [bleep] terrible influence. Not just on me, but on the world,” Gervais Tweeted (and later deleted).
There was an important lesson to be learned from the night of debauchery, however.
“@JaneFallon & I feel a bit hungover this morning. And it’s all Noah’s fault :),” Gervais typed, adding: “Amazing over indulgent night with the stealth artist @russellcrowe. We have to be brothers in a weird movie one day.”
Seriously, wouldn’t watch that?!?
“Heh heh, funny how a little bit of fun on twitter can get a frenzy going. I’m having a great day, hope you are too,” Crowe Tweeted this morning.
