Overall Meaning

The first verse of Rosalía's song "Si Tu Supieras Compañero" describes a painful and violent love in which the persona asks her lover to take a golden dagger and stab her with it, alluding to the intensity of the passion they share. The person seems to be saying that she wants him to hurt her, and that even if he does, she would not forget him.
