Mariana and Dante Bichette gave birth to Bo Bichette in Orlando, Florida. Mariana, his mother, was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil (Bo’s maternal grandpa is a native of China who immigrated to Brazil).
Dante Bichette, his father, is a former professional baseball player in the United States who the Toronto Blue Jays organization presently employs.
His father debuted in the major leagues with the Angels in 1988, but he was a streaky hitter and was moved to the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for Dave Parker in 1991.
After putting up merely ordinary stats with Milwaukee, Dante was moved to the Colorado Rockies, a new expansion team. His father concluded the Rockies’ inaugural season with 21 home runs and a.310 batting average, both of which were personal bests at the time.

Dante resigned from his position with the Blue Jays on February 9, 2022, to train with his son, Bo. He had been unable to practice with Bo due to the current 2021-22 Major League Baseball lockout and had put family above his profession.
